    Description

    Handsome 1964 Cities Service fold-out road map of New York, printed more than 54 years ago.
    This map opens to 18" x 30½" and has great detail on old highway alignments in the Empire State, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
    There are inset plans of Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany.
    A large inset map of Long Island shows ferries to Fire Island and construction in progress on the Long Island Expressway east of the Sunken Meadow Parkway.
    The map was distributed by Cities Service in 1964 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 11-LL. There's a Cities Service credit card ad on the back cover.
