ORIGINAL 1950’s CITIES SERVICE CITGO GAS & OIL BUSY BEAVER DECAL ADVERTISING CHARACTER IS READY TO DISPLAY.
If you remember the gas and oil Cities Service, you probably know that it was later called Citgo—and in some areas had an advertising mascot known as “Busy Beaver.”
That little guy represented the gas station attendants and mechanics that worked the garage.
The photos show a full size view of an original decal advertising sign from those good old days and a close-up of the hat and back portion.
This mint condition little gem was found carefully stored away in the attic of an old long closed Cities Service corner gas station on Lake Michigan.
Size is just a bit over 4 x 4-inches. Because it was never used and kept high and dry, condition is perfect!
And, this one is going to be finding a new home in this eBay auction.
